CMELF is an independent medical centre at 14 rue La Fayette, a short walk from the Galeries Lafayette and the Opéra Garnier. Hair removal is performed with the Lutronic Clarity II (Alexandrite 755 nm and Nd:YAG 1064 nm, phototypes I to VI) and tattoo removal with the Lutronic PicoPlus picosecond laser. Every treatment protocol is defined by a single referring doctor.

Sessions
On average 6 to 10 sessions are needed. Sessions are performed, at your choice, by the doctor or by a trained assistant under the doctor’s responsibility, with continuous cold-air skin cooling (Zimmer Cryo).
In case of complications, or if an expert opinion is needed, a specific consultation with the doctor can be arranged depending on the progress of your treatment. At the end of the treatment, a personalised touch-up programme may be offered on a case-by-case basis.
Tattoo removal
Tattoos are removed over several sessions with the Lutronic PicoPlus picosecond laser, combined with skin care to limit the risk of scarring. Tattoo removal is performed by the doctor only. Facial tattoos and permanent make-up are not treated.

Questions & preparation
- How many sessions will I need?
- On average 6 to 10 sessions for laser hair removal. Results vary from one person to another and are often slower to obtain for men. From the 6th session onwards, the protocol is adapted to your results.
- Does laser hair removal work on dark skin?
- Yes. The Lutronic Clarity II combines two wavelengths: Alexandrite 755 nm for fair to olive skin and Nd:YAG 1064 nm for olive to dark skin, covering phototypes I to VI. The laser does not work on blond, light red or white hair.
- Who performs the sessions?
- Hair removal sessions are performed, at your choice, by the doctor or by a trained assistant under the doctor’s responsibility. Tattoo removal is performed by the doctor only. Facial tattoos and permanent make-up are not treated.
- How do I prepare for a session?
- Shave the area 24 to 48 hours before (except the face, arms, forearms, lower back, areolas, navel line and buttocks), avoid sun exposure on the areas (at least 4 weeks before for fair skin, 10 days for olive to dark skin, and 10 days after each session) and do not wax or pluck between sessions.
- Is there a commitment?
- No. Sessions can be booked without any commitment, and the first consultation is free.
